Raw Pizza Made Simple
Some of you might be awaiting this raw pizza recipe so here it is 🙂 Very simple and delicious!
Pizza Base would make one large pizza or two small ones:
2 medium onions
1/3 cup flax seeds
2 tablespoons tamari
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon turmeric
1/3 cup water
Directions:
Blend all ingredients except flax seeds in your blender until smooth. Add flax seeds and blend again. If too sticky, add more water. Place your pizza dough on non sticky sheet, make a circle shape about 1 cm thick and place in dehydrator for 8 hours. After 8 hours, flip over and remove the non sticky sheet and dehydrate for another hour. If you don’t have dehydrator, try your oven on the lowest temperature with door a bit open. You may try 6 hours of dehydrating if using the oven. Haven’t tried this particular recipe in the oven, but I guess it’ll work too!
Tomato sauce:
6 soaked sun dried tomatoes in water
6 fresh cherry tomatoes
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2-3 tablespoons coconut nectar
Directions:
Blend all ingredients together until smooth, taste and add either apple cider or coconut nectar to your liking. Spread over your pizza base
Cut fresh tomatoes, kale or lettuce, whatever greens you have and place over your tomato sauce.
Cheese:
1 cup soaked cashews or macadamia nuts
3/4 cup water
1/3 cup nutritional yeast
3 tablespoons tamari
Directions:
Blend all ingredients together until smooth. Spread over your toppings.
ENJOY 🙂
